Precision Laser Solutions Pte Ltd (PLS) was registered in Singapore on June 11, 2009 (No. 200910501M). It is founded with a core technical group of the former high tech local company, LaserResearch, specialized in precision laser material processing for HDD media.

PLS has officially purchased all the laser processing machine IPs and inventory and laser testing equipment and other assets together with the brand of "LaserResearch" from LaserResearch ( in liquidation) on July 6, 2009.
